Shakespeare Production Acting Camp

This is an IN-PERSON camp!
Our Shakespeare Production Acting Camp is open to students in rising grades 6-12.
This camp meets Monday - Friday from 10AM - 4PM
The performance will be at 7:30 on Friday, July 21
Students will stay on-site from 10AM-7:30PM on Friday, July 21.
This camp is perfect for students new to Shakespeare as well as retuning campers and those with advanced acting training. We may ask you to come in for a casting session prior to the camp, or meet with us on Zoom. Some casting sessions will take place We intend for all in-person and virtual casting sessions to take place Friday, June 2, Saturday, June 3, or Sunday, June 4, and it possible that more will come later in June or July.
This camp will run alongside a technical theatre camp, which will help with the costumes, sets, sound and technical elements for the production.
Monday - Thursday from 10AM - 4PM
Students will stay from 10AM-8:30PM on Friday, with a performance at 7:30 on Friday evening, planned at a nearby outdoor location but which may take place inside the Belmont Arts Collaborative, depending on weather.
DMR Staff will be in contact via the camp BAND group closer to camp with information on the camp and casting.
Location of performance is TBA but planned at an outdoor location in Belmont.
The cost includes a DMR T-shirt (if registered by June 1).
