Be careful what you wish for! Into the Woods JR. brings together everyone’s favorite fairy tale characters in this funny, magical, and heartfelt musical about wishes, family, and the consequences of what happens after “happily ever after.”
With a Tony Award-winning score by Stephen Sondheim (Sweeney Todd, Company, Sunday in the Park with George) and book by James Lapine (Falsettos, Sunday in the Park with George), Into the Woods JR. follows a Baker and his wife on a quest to reverse a witch’s curse. Along the way, they cross paths with Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), Rapunzel, and more beloved characters.
As the stories intertwine, everyone learns that magic comes with a price—and that sometimes getting what you wish for isn’t the same as living happily ever after. Full of humor, heart, and unforgettable songs, Into the Woods JR. reminds us that no one is alone.
