Join us this summer for Something Rotten JR., the Broadway smash hit reimagined for young performers!
In the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of Renaissance rock star William Shakespeare. When a soothsayer predicts that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing, and acting all at once, the brothers set out to create the world’s very first musical. Packed with over-the-top characters, show-stopping numbers, and plenty of laughs, this history-twisting tale proves one undeniable truth: nothing’s as amazing as a musical!
🎭 About the Intensive
Over two exciting weeks, students will train in acting, singing, and dancing while rehearsing a full-scale musical under the guidance of professional directors, choreographers, and music directors. This fast-paced intensive challenges young performers to develop their craft, build ensemble skills, and bring a Broadway-style production to life in just 10 days of rehearsal.
