Something Rotten JR.
A two-week, full-day musical theatre intensive for performers ready to take on a focused, fast-paced rehearsal process and a fully staged production.
The Something Rotten JR. Musical Theatre Intensive is designed for students with prior theatre or musical theatre experience who want to deepen their skills while working collaboratively on a complete musical. Participants will rehearse daily, building strong ensemble work while developing character, vocal performance, and movement technique.
This intensive mirrors the demands of a professional rehearsal process in an age-appropriate, supportive environment. Students will experience what it takes to mount a full production on an accelerated timeline, culminating in three public performances.
Something Rotten JR. is a high-energy musical comedy packed with wordplay, physical comedy, and ensemble storytelling, making it an exciting challenge for performers who enjoy fast-paced material and working as part of a strong ensemble.

June 8–13 (Monday–Saturday)
June 8–11: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
June 12: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
(Performance at 6:00 PM)
June 13: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
(Performances at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM)

Please note: Ticket pricing is not included in the cost of tuition.
🎠Auditions, Invitations & Casting
This Musical Theatre Intensive is by audition or invitation only. Students may not register for this program without first being invited to participate.
All participants are required to take part in casting sessions prior to the start of camp. Casting sessions help ensure a strong ensemble and an appropriate fit for the pace, expectations, and collaborative nature of the intensive.
💰 Tuition & Pricing
DMR Adventures uses an accessible pricing model for most programs. Families may select an Immediate Scholarship level at registration without applying for financial aid.
Full Tuition: $1,100
Supported Tuition Options (Immediate Scholarships):
Supported Tuition – Level 1: $1,000
Supported Tuition – Level 2: $900
Supported Tuition – Level 3: $800
