Open to students in grades 5–10.

Camp Overview
Technical Theatre Camp – Week 2 is an immersive, performance-focused experience centered on the full production and run of Something Rotten JR. This week moves from preparation into execution, giving students the opportunity to work through tech rehearsals, performances, and strike—just like a professional production team.
Participants will take on expanded responsibilities and work closely with designers, stage management, and technical staff to ensure each performance runs smoothly and safely.
Dates & Schedule
This camp runs Monday through Saturday with extended hours during performance days.
June 8–11: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
June 12: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
(Performance at 6:00 PM)
June 13: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
(Performances at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM)
Participants will work primarily on Something Rotten JR. and may assist in the following areas:
-Supporting technical rehearsals and performances
-Operating lighting and sound systems during the run
-Managing props, costumes, and set pieces backstage
-Assisting with scene shifts and transitions
-Working closely with the stage management team
-Participating in strike and post-show reset
-Learning professional backstage etiquette and safety practices
Students in Technical Theatre Camp – Week 2 will support the full performance run of:
Something Rotten JR.
Friday, June 12 at 6:00 PM
Saturday, June 13 at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM

*This week includes longer days and evening hours, especially during performances. Families should plan accordingly.
**Students interested in learning the complete arc of a MainStage production are strongly encouraged to enroll in both Week 1 and Week 2 for the full experience.
