Today marks the beginning of DMR’s summer camps! From now (6/10/2019) until August 18th, many students will come together to produce all types of shows. Part of DMR’s program this summer includes having a different intern write the blog every week! So don’t forget to check in for funny moments, updates, and reminders of what shows are coming up.
Three camps are happening this week. Little Red’s Adventure, Greatest Showkids (grades 3rd-6th), and Greatest Showkids (Grades 7-12th). Little Red’s Adventure is a camp for our 1st-4th graders. This class will perform 11:30 AM on Friday June 14th. We hope you’ll be able to come see these amazing kids in their performance!
The two other camps we have going on are our Greatest Showkids camps. The first session is for 3rd-6th graders, while the second session is for 7th-12th graders. The younger group will be performing on Friday at 1:00 PM, and the older students will be performing at 7:00 PM. These camps are entirely student run! So coming to either show not only supports the students in the camp, but all the amazing interns who put it all together.
All in all, DMR was filled with smiles and laughter today. We plan on keeping it that way for the weeks to come with so many amazing students working on and performing in the camps. We hope you will be able to come see some of our performances this week! If you or your child is interested in signing up for one of our other camps this summer to join in on the fun, there are still some spots available in upcoming camps. So remember to check those out if you’re interested!
